Coastal Region: Electronic Records Management Virtual Training
This event is available to attendees living in the following counties: Dorchester, Colleton, Berkeley, Beaufort, Georgetown, Jasper, Hampton, Allendale, Bamberg, and Charleston.
SC Department of Archives and History (SCDAH) Electronic Records Management Training provides state and local government agencies with the tools to manage electronic records effectively. This training will promote the importance of how laws govern records, securing and disposing records based on the General Retention Schedules. (Please note that local government agencies cannot transfer permanent electronic records to the Archives. Only on a case-by-case examination and approval by the Records Service Supervisor can local government be allowed to transfer electronic records.)
